Tim Coates-Walker - Managing Director


I set up Walker Logistics in 2003 with the purpose of providing total logistics solutions to companies for both international and domestic freight services. I am passionate about the work we do for our clients and the team of people we have. We strive to create a professional and close family working environment.

I have over 35 years experience in the industry both in New Zealand and Europe, working for companies such as DHL, UPS, TNT and Expeditors International.

I am married with two children and my hobbies are Golf, Fishing and boating.


Paul Groves - General Manager

In 1994 after graduating from Waikato University I embarked on an O.E. which led to me living in Japan for 10 years. During that time I worked in the manufacturing industry which gave me some experience and an insight in logistics. Upon returning to NZ, and after a chance meeting with the director of a small, but rapidly growing logistics company, I got hooked on the idea being a part of something with huge potential, and my fate was sealed. 13 years and counting; everyday at Walker Logistics brings new opportunities to develop solutions, work alongside NZ businesses and help bring more value to what they do.

I like to be busy, so if I’m not working, then I fill my spare time with numerous hobbies and try to learn something new everyday.

Emma Provida - Customer Service Agent


In 2012, I finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, then spent almost 2 years in Connecticut to specialize in every department in one of the most prestigious Hotels in United States.

I then decided to step up my career and studied Business Administration here in NZ.

I joined Walker Logistics in January 2017 which has greatly broadened my skills in the freight industry. I enjoy the fast paced environment and of course delivering exceptional service to our clients.

I have only just recently joined Walker Logistics this year. I am very new to the industry and I have already learnt so much in this short time.

I am enjoying every minute of knowledge and experience I am gaining along the way.

Everyday is a new challenge from trying to track down the exact whereabouts of freight to getting it out to the customer on time.

Freight and Logistics have always been a huge part of my family and i am loving the fast paced nature of the industry. I am lucky to work with such a fun and dedicated team!




Daniel Jones - International Logistics Co-Ordinator

I have worked in logistics for a number of years now - including various Sea Import roles and warehousing.

I was drawn to Walker Logistics due to their personalised approach to customer service. More, the opportunity to play an important role in a company that is growing. Solving problems and assisting businesses achieve success - "putting yourself in their shoes" - is something I am passionate about.

Outside of Walker Logistics i am very active, playing football competitively for over 15 years. I love a weekend away with my my partner or friends. Because i found it interesting, i studied at the UoA where i graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History.


Jay Jeram - Business Development Manager


I’ve worked for a major sporting brand for just over 11 years at their Head Office, where I did several roles including retail, Customer Services & Operations.

I enjoy a challenge, learning new skills and look forward to helping the company grow. 

Outside of work I love to get outdoors and keep fit. I’m a big football (soccer) fan and play for a club in Auckland. Other hobbies I also like are travelling, golf, cricket, hiking, snowboarding just to name a few!

Aibi Tang - Finance and Administration Manager


I am from Guangzhou, China and was educated in Guangzhou, China and Palmerston North, New Zealand. I have completed a Bachelor of Economics with a major in Enterprise management and Accounting.

I have over 23 years experience in fields of accounting and administration in both China and New Zealand and I joined Walker Logistics Ltd in March 2008.

I am passionate about cooking, travelling and hiking.



Shelly Xie - Accounts Clerk


I have completed a Bachelor of Accountancy at Massey University.

I joined Walker Logistics in January 2017. My main responsibility is to bill our clients accurately and meet deadlines.

I enjoy baking and walking.






Warehouse Team

Shane Rundle -Warehouse Supervisor

image1I started with Walkers in 2013, as the Central Courier driver. I now supervise the warehouse and work alongside Kylie to maintain and oragnise the fleet. I have nearly 20 years experience in the freight industry, having worked for Sub60 Couriers for 14 years. 

I love the dynamic challenge and the diversity, problem solving each day at Walkers.  I like working as a team to grow the business and make our customers happy.

When I am not at work i love to get outdoors and explore nature. I enjoy camping, wakeboarding, water skiing, mountain biking, snowboarding among other things with my family and friends.


Michael Une - Warehouse Assistant


I joined Walker logistics in February 2017 and have now been here for a year and am really enjoying it. Being part of this business is a new challenge for me everyday as well as enjoying the people i work with.

I have almost 10 years experience in this trade. I enjoy all sports and love being with family.

Logistics has always been a part of my life, first starting 13 years ago. I enjoy working together as a team to get the job done well for our clients.




Abby Pitcher - Branch Supervisor

I initally began my time at Walker Logistics as a driver, but throughout my time here have developed into the Branch Supervisor role.

I have been in the freight industry for 3-4 years.

In my spare time i like to spend time with my family and go drag racing!


Sarah Roelink - Customer Service Agent

SarahI have been in the transport industry for 10 years.

I have qualifications in Travel & tourism and am currently in my second year of study learning New Zealand sign language. I also own two alexandrine parrots.

I have been in the freight industry for 21 years. I have a daughter and like to play tennis in my spare time.
