HISTORY
In 2002 Tim Coates-Walker identified an opportunity in the New Zealand market place to develop a total solutions logistics company covering all aspects of the movement of goods both within New Zealand and internationally.
Today Walker Logistics is now a leading provider of transport and logistics solutions both domestically and internationally, servicing the New Zealand market place. We employ in excess of fifty staff and we move in excess of a 1000 shipments per day.
We are a privately owned New Zealand company managed by its key shareholders.
We provide total domestic solutions, Local, shorthaul, nationwide courier and bulk freight movements.
We provide total International Solutions, End-to-end Import/Export courier, airfreight, seafreight and customs services.
We take a personal approach, working with clients as “business-partners” to become an extension of their brands and services
PERSONNEL
All senior personnel have many years of experience in their respective fields within the logistics industry, and have held positions of department or branch management prior to joining Walker Logistics.

NETWORK
Walker Logistics operates its own dedicated transport and logistics facilities at Auckland Airport, Te Rapa, Hamilton and Christchurch with a combined footprint of over 5000m2. From these three strategic locations we service over 50% of the New Zealand freight volumes directly to the main centres of Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Whangarei, Christchurch and regional points in between for both courier and bulk freight.
Walker Logistics provides some of the fastest sameday delivery services in the shorthaul markets in addition to providing competitive overnight delivery solutions.
Between the North and South islands we operate our own dedicated linehaul systems to provide a reliable and efficient delivery service.
